The Provincial Industries, Investments and Economic Development Office drives sustainable economic growth across Madang Province's key resource sectors: mines, petroleum and energy; forestry; agriculture and livestock; and fisheries. Leveraging the province's abundant natural assets—including the Ramu nickel-cobalt mine, extensive timber reserves, diverse cash-crop production, and vibrant marine ecosystems—the office formulates sectoral policies, attracts and facilitates public and private investment, and oversees development initiatives that promote value addition, environmental stewardship, and equitable community benefits.
