About the Economic Sector

Division Overview

The Economic Sector, operating from the Sir Angmai Bilas Complex (Ground Floor), is responsible for driving economic development across Madang Province. Under the leadership of Acting Director Economic, Peter Sagerom, the division focuses on improving living standards through increased income earning opportunities, resource mobilization, and self-reliance.

Vision: Improved living standards of local people of Madang province.

Mission: Increased income earning opportunities for the people through resource mobilization, self-reliance, self-employment, increased cash income, cooperation and good governance.
