About the Mines, Petroleum & Energy Sector

Sector Overview

The Mines, Petroleum, Gas & Oil and Energy Sector operates under the Provincial Industries, Investments & Economic Development framework. The sector's primary responsibility is to coordinate all mining, petroleum, oil, and gas development activities within Madang Province while maximising social and economic benefits for all stakeholders and development partners.

To fully establish effective essence of rationality to its activities, programs and projects in the province.
