The Provincial Social Services Office leads the design, coordination, and delivery of social welfare and community development programs across Madang Province. Operating under the Madang Provincial Administration, it partners with sector agencies and local-level governments to advance health and welfare initiatives, child protection, and cultural preservation.
Our expanded mandate now includes environment and conservation with climate change adaptation, education support, community development, gender equality and social inclusion, and oversight of village courts. Through evidence-based planning and inclusive stakeholder engagement, the office strengthens social safety nets, promotes equitable access to services, and enhances community resilience.
